Pacific Harvest Kombu Leaves are harvested from Atlantic kombu (Laminaria digitata), a brown seaweed highly regarded in Japanese and Korean cooking. Kombu is prized for its natural glutamates which create a rich, savoury dashi stock — the foundation of miso soup, ramen and many Japanese dishes. It is also high in iodine, calcium and iron.
