Dose Form – Oral liquid
Ferrous sulfate 30 mg/mL equivalent to 6 mg/mL elemental iron
Adults and children over 12 years: 15-30 mL daily.
7-12 years: 5 - 20 mL daily
2-6 years: up to 5 mL daily
Under 2 years: only use with medical advice
Temporary discolouration of teeth can be minimised by brushing the teeth with baking soda.
